Wool,
Mohair & Alpaca
Animal fibers are very versatile yarns. They are easy work with, and easy to dye--as long as you take care not to felt them. All wools should be
hand washed except superwash wool, which is machine washable. There's a little bit of everything here--a variety of weights, novelty
yarns and boucle; all sold in half pound skeins. This is 228 g, equivalent
to about four and half 50g balls. Most of these yarns are kept in stock at all times--these are indicated by the
pink squares. Blue squares indicate yarns that are special ordered and
take 3 additional days to ship (if we don't have any on hand).
