Organic Cotton Yarn

Cotton has long been an important crop for India.  Our Charka Cotton is grown naturally in the old  tradition without pesticides or chemical fertilizers.  Spun in a small mill in India, the slight variations in spinning and plying add textural interest and give it a rustic appeal, as if it were spun on a charka. It is a fine, 2-ply yarn, tightly plied for strength, making it good for socks, baby items, crochet, and weaving.

Approx. 325 yards per skein, 1550 ypp, 23 wpi.
